Berlin-based duo Trinity Carbon (Appleblim and Patrick Conway) combine their respective affinitions for bass music and Detroit house to reveal the gentler, more euphoric side of minimal techno.

The darkly comforting track features pulsating, ocean wave-like synths and chopped, emotionless vocal groans that wash over a warm uber-bass.

With early support from UK DJs Josey Rebelle, Truly Madly, and Trevor Jackson, Trinity Carbon was initially an anonymous project.

The untimely passing of acid house pioneer and champion of the underground—Andrew Weatherall—propelled the duo to finish their dubbed-out debut release on ESP Institute.

Here we see a clear evolution from their self-titled debut; a lighter, more refined direction for the duo who have found their chemistry.
