In “Replacing,” Orchid turns her talents to UK garage — it’s the kind of song that would really kill on Dance Dance Revolution, pairing a skittering, throwback beat with retro, arcade game textures, and Orchid’s processed (yet still soulful) vocals.

The track manages that rare feat of managing to pay homage to the past, while still having its eyes firmly set on the future.
