While it's no secret that France produces some of the best electronic music around, Angsty Camboyz Revenge demonstrate how the country is also exporting the crème de la crème of the new avenues of trap.

Their new track Poppy discloses an immense universe of metallic appeal, its glitchy cadence absorbing with every new listen while the linguistic mannerisms ease the flow in unclenching fascination.

This is not to say its instant addictiveness is mere beginner's luck: The French duo released their debut album I LOVE MUSIC earlier this year after a series of successful EPs, and members bob glocc and err walou are equally prolific in terms of solo ventures, with their Soundcloud pages unveiling virtually bottomless pits of extravagance, experimentation, and expertise.

Yet Poppy triggers a different type of response through its sonic maturity, confidently elbowing for a place among giants. "Efficace," indeed.
